What is a oversize boat in the state of Kentucky?

Legal boats are considered to be 8' 6" in overall width overall hieght will be around 12'

Requirements for over size boats

Any boat over 8' 6" wide will have to have permits issude by the state.

Any boat that is over 10'6" wide on two lane Rd. will have to have at least 1 escort.

Any boat that is 12' or over on 4 lane will have at least 1 escort.
